SOLD: 2011 Audi R8 V10 Manual with 18K miles for Sale

2011 Audi R8 V10 Coupe Manual, Ibis White, Black Interior, Carbon – $140K (Sold for 146K on Bring A Trailer)

When the first-generation R8 launched in September of 2006, 6-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx described it as “the best handling road car today.” The R8 shared several parts with the Lamborghini Gallardo, though it was a different car. The 5.2-liter V10 engine was added to the R8 lineup in 2009, and production ended in 2015. Power comes from a 5.2-liter V10, rated at 525 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

This car has been an absolute joy to drive. The power and sound of the V10 puts a smile on your face and plants you back in your seat. Every shift with the gated manual feels wonderfully mechanical in a way that no automatic or paddle shifter can replicate. I desperately wanted to experience an R8 V10 manual, so I had to buy it when this popped up at GrandPrix last year. I’m traveling for work so much that I rarely get to enjoy it, and truth be told, I’m an open-top Porsche guy at heart.

Keep it local before I get motivated to sell this on BaT, where equivalent cars fetch $160 to $200K plus fees. If you are a collector, hold this low mileage example, and I’m sure you will do well.
