So it’s like 45 degrees outside today but the sun in shining bright and my car has been sitting in the garage way too long. But I have a problem. I need to spend time with my two crazy boys and I really need to make a trip to Costco to stock up for our holiday party. Is it possible to combine a fun Saturday drive, quality time with the boys and a domestic chore like shopping at Costco. Hell yes!

Our long Saturday cruise was interrupted by a very slow train. At one point it stopped and went backward 🙂
And finally, here is the proof that a classic 911 can be the perfect car for a sunny cruise with kids to Costco. Screw mini-vans!

No kidding! With our SUV we can’t get out of there for under $500. But then again, I was surprised at how much I could shove in the passenger side of the car. A party supply size amount of booze fit just fine 🙂
Personally I use the excuse of checking the oil to get the car out of the garage. Has to be up to operating temperature to check it so…..off to Fall City I go. What a chore. 🙂
